I finally tried the frozen block of Waygu hamburger meat and was very pleasantly rewarded. Two main characteristics that I so much appreciated were the lack of gristle in the meat and a satisfying ratio of meat to fat. On the gristle front, too many times hamburger meat is plagued by the presence of too much gristle which destroys the consistency of the burger. I was happy that there wasn't too much fat because I am somewhat health conscious and try to limit the amount of animal fat in my diet. I also liked the grind, more on the chunky side, which I prefer. I am going to order more Waygu meat and will continue to do so. Thumbs up!!!
